Job Description
Senior Compliance Officer, Kent & London. c£30-40 plus excellent benefits.
My Client is a highly respected and very well establish, leader in their field.
Following a recent restructure of their compliance team, this has created a new opportunity for a solid compliance professional to join and assist in the continued improvement and development of Compliance and Risk.
Also allowing you to further develop and enhance your skills and experience.
Reporting into the Risk and Compliance Director, you will monitor, analyse and communicate new regulatory developments and legislation that affect the business and operation of the company.
You will provide advice on the FSA client money rules within the insurance industry, ICOB and current FSA regulations.
Facilitate, through the provision of information, advice, support and/or project management, the identification and implementation by the business of procedures, controls and changes as necessary to ensure compliance requirements are adhered to.
You will have an in depth knowledge of UK regulatory requirements through your experience in a financial services or insurance environment.
An excellent knowledge of the FSA handbook with particular emphasis being placed on ICOBS, SYSC, TCF and Contract Certainty.
You will understand and implement oversight and audit requirements in accordance with the SYSC rules with particular emphasis on appointed representatives and out sourcing.
A highly effective communicator with a credible presence, highly organised, ability to influence others and driven by delivering excellence.
