Brighton Mind

Mind in Brighton and Hove works to promote good mental health in our city and across Sussex. It seeks to empower people to lead a full life as part of their local community.

To achieve these aims Mind:
Promotes mental health in our community
Works with mental health 'service users' to increase their influence and control over their own lives
Challenges discrimination and promotes social inclusion
Campaigns and raises funds
Works in partnership with other organisations
Involves service users and volunteers in our work
Focuses on quality in service provision

We were founded in 1967 and since then have developed into a significant provider of mental health services in our City and across Sussex.

Mind in Brighton and Hove is affiliated to National Mind, and works with other local services and statutory partners such as Brighton and Hove City Council, Brighton and Hove Primary Care Trust, Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and NHS West Sussex.

Our main office opening hours are 9am-5pm on Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). We have a 24 hour answer phone service.
