Based in Shoreham-by-sea, we are currently seeking skilled and semi skilled mechanical fitters and fabricators to full fill long term contracts within the automotive industry. You will be required to assist in the modification of HGV 2 vehicles on an ongoing contract, you must be able to read and assemble via engineering drawings and able to work within a team.
Converting HGV vehicles will include chassis extension and re-enforcement, fitting of hydraulic systems, pumps, motors (but not engine) and pre fabricated containers. This is a fitter’s position and not a mechanics role where you must possess general working experience within a workshop environment working within a safe environment
