Payroll Administrator - Redhill - Surrey

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced payroll administrator to join this blue chip company. In this role you will undertake all aspects of the day to day operation of the payroll and produce a monthly payroll for the combined 250 employees in the UK and Ireland in an effective and efficient manner. You will also need to provide specialist support and advice on all matters pertaining to the payment of salaries to all employees within the organization and relevant external agencies.
Duties will include:
To prepare, calculate and input salary changes (payments and deductions), and starters and leavers, pensions taking into account PAYE, National Insurance, WFTC, SSP, SMP, Student Loans and other requirements as appropriate.q
1. Ensure that changes are accurately recorded.
2. To ensure all monthly payroll information is collated in a timely and organized manner.
3.Produce monthly payroll figures for use by the Finance Department
4. Produce letters for all leavers.
5. To answer any queries from employees regarding their monthly pay.
6. To provide verbal and written advice on all aspects of payroll services i.e. PAYE, National Insurance, WFTC etc in a confidential and accurate manner.
7. Keep up to date on any pay, pension and tax legislation.
8.Produce reports for Paris.
The ideal candidate should have
·Previous experience in running payroll
·Ability to calculate manual payments
·Excellent numeracy skills
·Experience in using Excel to produce monthly schedules
·Ability to use discretion
·Ability to meet strict monthly deadlines whilst under pressure
·Excellent communication skills
